About the Studio

We are a performing arts center specializing in all art forms of dance. We have programs for the serious dancer wishing to take their dancing further to college or the professional level, as well as the “JUST FOR FUN” recreational program.

Our dancers have gone to colleges on dance scholarships to terrific universities such as Chapman University, California School of the Arts, NYI, University of Hawaii, Western Michigan University, Oakland University, The Alvin Ailey School of Dance and Broadway Dance Center, NY, NY, Pointe Park University, Wayne State University, The Edge professional training program. Our Alumni dancers have had the privilege of performing in professional shows such as: Billy Eilish, The Jonas Brothers, Meghan Trainor, The Grammy’s, The Choreographers Carnival in LA, The Purple Rose Theater for Jeff Daniels, The Radio City Rockettes, Dance teams for the Detroit Pistons, and Mariah Carey, Enrique Iglesias and Boyz II Men as well as commercials for Old Navy and Target.

At this performing arts facility, you will find a friendly, approachable, and degreed master level staff. Our diverse teaching staff have performed professionally and studied at an advanced level from Hawaii to New York. (Our Staff)

Big City focuses on customer service and creating enjoyable memories for your child. Young toddlers will enjoy their introduction to dance with the wide range of subjects we offer. Our staff will assist you in creating a perfect class schedule that fits your busy schedule and best suits your dancer.

Your child will not only learn coordination, flexibility and rhythm; they will build their self esteem and confidence through a healthy activity.
